Megan M. Beck

Megan is a family law attorney who has devoted her practice exclusively to domestic relations matters for more than 20 years. A native Tulsan, she is known for providing sophisticated and personalized representation in both complex financial disputes and sensitive custody matters, combining large-firm experience with a client-focused approach.

Megan represents clients across a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, and guardianship disputes. She has particular experience handling cases involving complex financial circumstances, especially matters involving closely held businesses, business valuation issues, and the distinction between personal and enterprise goodwill. She is also highly experienced in contested child custody litigation.

Her practice is built around close communication and individualized representation, recognizing that family law matters are often highly emotional and deeply personal. Clients benefit from both sophisticated legal strategy and dedicated personal attention throughout the legal process.

In addition to her advocacy work, Megan is regularly appointed by courts to serve as a Guardian ad Litem in contested custody cases and is frequently engaged to mediate family law disputes involving custody, property division, support alimony, and child support. Whether through mediation, collaborative resolution, or litigation, she tailors her approach to each client’s specific goals and circumstances.

Megan began her legal career in Chicago as division attorney for the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where she served more than 40 judges. After leaving public service, she practiced at one of the nation’s largest and most highly regarded family law firms, representing primarily high-net-worth individuals in complex financial matters. Prior to founding Megan M. Beck, PLLC, she was a shareholder at one of Oklahoma’s largest law firms.

Megan holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer and in Best Lawyers for family law.

Megan earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2005, where she was on the editorial board of The Urban Lawyer and the Dean’s Honor Roll. She received her B.S. in Journalism, magna cum laude, from the University of Kansas in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Illinois (2005) and Oklahoma (2012).
